Pix4D looked for a video interviewing solution to save as much time as possible and learn more about candidates earlier in their hiring process. The team intended to eliminate phone screens with a video interviewing solution integrated with their ATS, Workable. The team needed to coordinate hiring efforts across multiple locations in Europe.

Spark Hire was our first experience using video interviewing.
We wanted a tool that was simple and intuitive to use. It should be not too expensive and integrated with our ATS, Workable.
We reviewed Workable’s integrations with video interviewing platforms and requested a demonstration of Spark Hire. We found the platform easy to use and liked the integration with Workable. At that point, we were sold!
The integration required some assistance from Workable and Spark Hire but once the integration was live, setting up our interviews was easy.
We created a stage in Workable for the Spark Hire video interview. When we select candidates to complete a video interview, we move them to this stage. The video interview allows our candidates to answer our questions on their own time and our team to review them easily.
It used to begin with reviewing applications with written questions candidates responded to, then a Skype call, and finally an onsite interview.
It works well. With Spark Hire, our process depends on what the hiring teams decides to do. In the last recruitment we did, the process was: review applications with questions candidates responded to in writing, a Spark Hire one-way video interview, and then an onsite interview. Spark Hire enables the hiring team to filter and avoid having too many candidates invited for final round interviews.
