Goals for Video Interviewing

Hoping to move off their initial video profile tool, YouTube, the TalentMinded team needed an easy-to-use platform to store all of the profiles from their Women in Tech Sales Bootcamp to share with clients.

Q:

What inspired you to look into video interviewing?

A:

We were looking for a platform that would consolidate all the videos from the Women in Tech Sales Bootcamp to allow employers to easily access profiles as well as provide a streamlined, professional way to showcase our bootcampers to employers.

Did Spark Hire replace a similar tool or is this the first time your team is using video interviewing?

A:

We previously used Youtube to host our bootcamp profiles.

What criteria did you have in mind for a video interviewing solution?

A:

Ideally, we were looking for a video interviewing platform that integrated with our main ATS partner, JazzHR. As Spark Hire has a plug-and-play integration with JazzHR, this was a huge perk. Through the sales process, we also learned Spark Hire is passionate about helping companies hire women in tech sales and therefore it was a good fit.

How has Spark Hire improved your process?

A:

Using candidate showcases on Spark Hire, we've streamlined the process for sharing bio books, resumes, and video interviews with our hiring partners for women in tech sales. It has cut down the time for WITS bootcamp to prepare and send profiles to employers and ease of use for our employers.

What was your team’s hiring process prior to using Spark Hire?

A:

Before we would host the profiles on YouTube, which meant our bootcampers were very public, and it could be challenging to hold a client's attention and promote the very real benefits of our bootcamp.

What type of feedback have you received from candidates in the cohort and your hiring partners?

A:

The feedback we have gotten from employers has been extremely positive! Everyone is very happy with the new platform and process!
